Anna Benson
Anna Benson is most famous for being the outspoken wife of Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kris Benson and her occasional modelling career.
Anna was born on February 12th 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia. She got married at a very young age (17) and she and her husband had a child together, they later went on to divorce in late 1994.
It was not until 1998 that Anna met the minor league pitcher Kris Benson and after dating for a while the couple got married. In 1999 Kris got his big break when he was called up for the majors to pitch for the Pittsburgh Pirates. His career and the couple’s lifestyle changed once again for the better when Kris moved up to The New York Mets in 2004. Anna began to receive a lot of media attention due to her husbands high flying career and later that same year she went on to pose for FHM magazine and was hailed as ‘Baseball’s hottest wife’.
Then in July 2005 Anna decided to begin playing in the ‘World series of Poker’ in Las Vegas using the nickname ‘Gold Digger’.
Anna was due to pose for ‘Playboy’ magazine in November 2005 but this never actually took place due to the fact that they couldn’t come to an agreement over how much Anna should be paid.
She soon generated a stir later that year when she attended a party dressed in a very low cut revealing Santa dress, photographers managed to take a shot of down her top and soon the pictures were everywhere, this caused controversy but also made sure that Anna was kept in the public eye.Anna can most recently seen posing for the April 2006 edition of FHM magazine featuring an interview with her and husband Kris.
Anna currently spends her time living in Atlanta and New York City and she is involved with various charities including The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross. Anna and Kris are still said to be very happy together and we look forward to seeing more of Baseball’s hottest couple in the near future.
