Denise Richards
Denise Richards is an American actress and model who is actually probably best known for her marriage to and much publicised divorce from actor Charlie Sheen.
Born February 17th 1971 she became known for her stunning good looks and modelling talents which eventually lead her to a much sought after movie and television career.
After appearing in a vast number of low budget films and several television shows Denise Richards big break came when she was cast in the 1997 hit film ‘Starship Troopers’ alongside Casper Van Dian and Patrick Muldoon (whom she later went on to have a relationship with). Set in the 23rd century the story focused on a young man who follows his girlfriend into life in the military.
From there she was able to get a part in the cult film ‘Wild Things’ alongside actress Neve Campbell, the film is famous for its lesbian kiss scene and at times harsh and twisted storyline, and later went on to star in films such as ‘The world is not enough’ ‘Undercover Brother’ and the hit comedy film ‘Scary movie 3’.
She also starred alongside ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’ and ‘Angel’ star David Boreanaz in the horror film ‘Valentine’ about a serial killer who was taunted on Valentines Day as a child.
The film left audiences disappointed as it lacked the real thrills and chills that a successful horror movie should have, but Boreanaz and Richards may have been saved this time as film fans still bought the movie due to David Boreanaz loyal cult fan base from Buffy and Angel.
In December 2004 Denise posed nude for Playboy magazine and in a complete contrast was named Sexiest mom of 2005 by ‘In Touch Weekly’ magazine.
She is hugely famous for her high profile divorce from actor Charlie Sheen whom she met on set of Scary Movie 3 and married in 2002. Denise stated that Sheen’s behaviour became increasing bizarre and that he was obsessed with firearms and all sorts of strange conspiracy theories, causing her to file for divorce.
She even took out a restraining order on Sheen as she stated she felt concerned for the safety of herself and her family after several threats were made by the star. Charlie Sheen has since claimed that Denise Richards allegations were part of a smear campaign against him and were not entirely true.
Denise has most recently been romantically linked to the legendary Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora who has recently separated from actress Heather Locklear.
