Estella Warren
The first time I ever saw Estella Warren was in an advert for Channel, where she appears as a little red riding hood type character being chased by wolves, two things stick out in your mind, firstly what is that advert about? and secondly just how strikingly beautiful Estella Warren is. The Estella Warren in shower photos are equally impressive.
Estella Warren was born in 1978 in Canada to a father who was a used car salesman, and an elementary school teacher mother, Estella started her life being very much pointed and focused towards an athletic career with her being a synchronised swimmer who represented Canada at the World Aquatic Championships.
Warren moved at the age of twelve from her home town to Toronto to pursue her swimming career and after achieving so much in her formative years she became senior champion at age seventeen, she even had the chance to move on to the 1996 summer Olympics, she is a three time Canadian national champion, and even won a bronze at the junior world event staged in 1995. Estella is famously quoted as saying “I really wanted to go to the Olympics, but everyone wanted me to model for them, so I said what the hell, why not!”
During a high school fashion show, an agent who was in the crowd spotted Estella and was obviously very impressed with what they saw, taking a Polaroid photograph of her and sending it to a New York agency, who signed her up starting her successful modelling career, Warren who is almost five feet nine inches tall has appeared in Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Vogue and was once voted the hottest woman of 2002 by men’s magazine Maxim, she also stared in a series of lucrative adverts for Channel perfume.
Like most models recently Estella has also dabbled in the world of acting, she has starred opposite Sylvester Stallone in the movie “Driven” in 2001, in the most recent version of “Planet of the apes” and also in the much slated “Kangaroo Jack”, she has also appeared on the small screen in TVs “That 70s Show”, “Law and Order” and she also made a special guest appearance in the acclaimed “Ghost Whisperer” in an episode entitled “On The Wings Of A Dove”. Most recently in 2006 Warren appeared in the video for INXS song Afterglow.
