Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan is the star of many teen movies of the last few years. Her first claim to fame was her portrayal of both twin sisters in the remake of the Movie ‘The parent trap’ in which two sisters’ trade places to get their parents together.
After the instant success of this she was soon on a roll and went on to star in films such as ‘Freaky Friday’ alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in which the two become trapped in each others bodies and learn what it is like to live life from each others perspective.
The film was funny, entertaining and a great follow up movie to the parent trap making her even more sought after as a teen movie actress. She later went on to star in films such as Mean Girls and Herbie Fully Loaded (alongside Michael Keaton).
She has been in the media spotlight a lot recently for her love of going out and partying until all hours of the night and has been classed as somewhat of a wild child for her slightly over the top antics. However some would say that this is just Lindsay’s way of growing up and is a phase she will soon outgrow.
Another point of constant media interest is her love life; she has been associated with some of the wealthiest men in show business, most recently Hard Rock Café heir Harry Morton with whom she is currently having an on-off relationship.
She has also been criticised for her dramatic weight loss recently, with newspapers and magazines stating that stars should be setting more of an example to younger children and maintaining a healthy weight and diet.
Despite all of this Lindsay certainly doesn’t seem to be letting any of it affect her acting career and is currently filming two new films ‘Georgia Rule’ and ‘A woman of no importance’ which are both set to show a more mature and grown up style of Lindsay’s acting that she has not yet had chance to showcase. It will definitely be interesting to see her try her hand at something new, Lindsay is a great actress and should be able to pull it off with no problems. At such a young age this talented young star still has the world at her feet.
