Melissa Joan Hart
Born 1976 in Smithtown New York, Melissa Joan Hart (named after the Allman brothers song “Melissa”) is probably best known as TV’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch. We offer a number of hot Melissa Joan Hart photos.
Harts career started really early, as a child actor starring in a TV commercial for a bath time toy called “Splashy”, starring in a further twenty five commercials before the age of five years old.
Melissa’s TV work was really blooming at this time as she appeared in the TV series Kane & Abel, The Equalizer and an Emmy award winning TV movie called Christmas Snow, opposite Katherine Helmond, all in the late eighties. Some fans have complained about melissa joan hart weight gain.
In 1989 she auditioned for a play alongside Martin Sheen, which eventually paved the way into her first big time TV appearance as Clarissa in Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains it all, the show scooped many awards along the way in its four year run, making Hart a household name amongst American teenagers.
After Clarissa was cancelled, Hart made a return to full time education to make up for what she had missed out on during her lengthy filming sessions as a child star.
However she soon resumed her acting career landing a part as Sabrina in the movie Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which eventually turned into a very popular TV series for Hart, so popular in fact that it lasted a whole seven seasons before finally biting the bullet.
Hart appeared in popular men’s magazine “Maxim” in 1999, wearing lingerie, doing a Q and A session for the magazine, where she told all about her sex life, and also mentioned a drinking game that could be played whilst watching Sabrina on TV, the horrified owners of the TV show (Archie Comics) who believed that the show was for children and pre teens, demanded that Hart apologise or be fired, after spoiling the wholesome image of the family show, allegedly Hart never apologised, and was never fired from the show.
Since her days as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hart has appeared in a few minor films, but never attained the stardom that she got from her successful TV appearances, she has also tried her hand at directing, which she had a dry run at whilst on the Sabrina show.
In 2003 Melissa married Mark Wilkerson, a musician with the band Course of Nature, and her production company Heartbreak Films produced the fly on the wall documentary that followed the couples ensuing nuptials entitled Tying the Knot. In January 2006 the couple announced their first child Mason Wilkerson.
