Kelly Hu is an actress and model who has starred in a number of American films. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is mixed with Hawaiian, Chinese, and English. By 1987, Hu moved to Los Angeles in order to begin her film career. She landed a role in Growing Pains, and she also made appearances in 21 Jump Street and Tour of Duty. Her first movie role was in the horror film Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. She also won the Miss Hawaii USA and nearly won the 1993 Miss USA pageant. Hu became more popular when she landed a role in the tv show Martial Law, and had important roles in the film The Scorpion King with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. She also appeared in Cradle to The Grave and Xmen 2.
